What we handle
Most of our work is straightforward commercial cargo: machinery parts, consumer goods, samples, chemicals with the right paperwork, garments, electronics. We also take on the shipments that have already gone wrong. That includes cargo stuck because of a classification query, a missing licence, a valuation dispute or a courier parcel that customs has held.
- Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill filing
- HS code classification and duty estimate before the cargo lands
- Assessment queries, examination and release follow-up
- Courier, EMS and Speed Post clearance under Section 146A authorisation
- Delivery from the port, CFS or airport to your door
Clearance is filed under Customs Broker licence CB 11/1467 held by our sister concern, Sarthak Shipping Service.
Where we clear cargo
Our team works at the main customs stations in and around Mumbai:
- Nhava Sheva (JNPT) and its CFSs, for container cargo
- Mumbai Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, a short drive from our office
- Mumbai Port
- International Courier Terminal, PCCCC and APSO for courier, precious cargo and postal shipments
- Mundra Port in Gujarat
How a clearance with us usually runs
- Send the documents early. Ideally before the vessel or flight arrives. We check them against each other and flag anything that will cause a query.
- We give you a duty estimate. Based on the HS code, value and origin, so the payment is ready on time.
- We file and track. Bill of Entry filed, assessment followed up, examination attended if customs asks for it.
- Release and delivery. Once out of charge is given, we arrange delivery or hand over to your transporter.
How long it takes depends on the cargo, the documents and whether customs selects it for examination. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we've seen the paperwork, not a guess.

Frequently asked questions
Are you a licensed customs broker (CHA)?
Yes. Clearance is filed under Customs Broker licence CB 11/1467, held by our sister concern Sarthak Shipping Service. CHA (Customs House Agent) is the older name for a customs broker.
Which documents do I need for customs clearance in Mumbai?
For imports: commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading or Air Waybill, IEC and GST details, plus any product licence or certificate. For exports: invoice, packing list, shipping instructions and any certificate the buyer's country needs.
Can you help if my cargo is already held by customs?
Yes. Send us the documents and any query or notice you've received. We'll tell you what's needed to get it released and what it is likely to cost.
Do you give a duty estimate before the shipment arrives?
Yes. Once we have the invoice and product details we can work out the likely HS code and duty, so you can arrange the payment in advance.
