A Mumbai customs broker and freight forwarder. We're small enough that you speak to the people doing the work, and experienced enough to handle shipments other agents turn away.
Who we are
Unicorn Transtrade is the sister concern of Sarthak Shipping Service, which holds Customs Broker licence CB 11/1467. Our team has been clearing cargo through Mumbai's customs stations since 2010.
We work from Sahar Village in Andheri East, near the Mumbai Air Cargo Complex. From there we handle air, sea and courier shipments at Nhava Sheva, Mumbai Port, the air cargo complex, the International Courier Terminal, PCCCC, the foreign post office and Mundra Port.
What we're known for
Complicated and customs-held shipments. A lot of our work comes from importers whose cargo has been stopped: a courier parcel held for a licence, a container with a valuation query, an EMS package that needs a proper Bill of Entry. Courier terminals often don't allow a regular Bill of Entry, so we take authorisation under Section 146A of the Customs Act and either clear the shipment at the courier station or move it to the cargo complex or PCCCC.
We also handle the everyday work: regular import and export clearance, freight booking, documentation and delivery.
How we work
- Documents first. We read your paperwork before we file, because that's where most delays start.
- Clear costs. Duty, port, line and CFS charges are listed separately from our fee.
- No promises we can't keep. Customs, terminals and shipping lines set parts of the timeline. We'll tell you which parts we control.
- One contact. The person who quotes you follows the shipment through.
